| What are the iCAPTURE Centre CORES? |
| |
The key components of the iCAPTURE
Centre are illustrated schematically in a pyramid. This pyramid consists
of a pinnacle (REGISTRY) supported by 4 pillars (CORES), all supported
by a base (FOUNDATIONS OF EXCELLENCE). The four Cores, described in this
section, will provide the mechanism for our Foundation of Excellence to
reveal the wealth of information in the iCAPTURE Registry. It is the strategically
chosen package of core technology, combined with the unique expertise
and bank of specimens/data we have established, that will enable the creation
of an international phenotyping and imaging centre, unique in North America,
for the eradication of heart, lung, and blood vessel disease.
